This is a strategy board game where you have to move your character (Blockman) to take over as much ground as possible within 120 seconds, while at the same time avoiding other enemies (similar to an air hockey battle).
Is it necessary for me to kill all enemies?
There isn’t really a way to win if you don’t try to attack them; but, since they can’t be killed, it’s just a matter of time before they’re chased off the board and you win. If you can surround and force them into a corner, that’s even better.

What does this tutorial mean by “killing all enemies”?
You would need to kill all of the enemies on the field (if possible) to win. It may or may not be necessary depending on how quickly they’re cleared from the board; but, if there are any leftover for 120 seconds, then you lose.
How do I play?
Drag your character (Blockman) to an adjacent square where there is no enemy; and he will automatically move towards that square. You can change Blockman’s direction by tapping on the desired face button or simply double-tap it to make him stop without wasting a turn. Double-tapping also makes it easier for you to place your pieces in any direction quickly; but, once you start dragging the piece around, the only way to cancel out of the movement mode is by hitting the ‘Cancel’ button which appears at the bottom left corner.
How does scoring work?
At the end of every, you’re given points for how many enemies you’ve killed and how much ground that they’re covering. The more enemy pieces there are, the more points you get. That being said, if no one has won after 120 seconds have passed, then there is a sudden death mode where all of the pieces turn into diamonds (that’s what gems are for) which can be collected by any player.
It seems like every time I play this game; I always lose?
There are 7 different maps within Blockman Go so you might have to simply change your strategy to win on another map.

This green button is the “Search” function. It’s for when you don’t know where the enemies are. Pressing this button lets your character (Blockman) find the enemies by simply following the field until it reaches an enemy. This is useful in situations where there are pieces on top of pieces so you can’t see them; or, when one piece is blocking another piece. The only drawback is that Blockman will still follow the same path (if possible) without stopping to wait for you to change his direction if something obstructs his way; but, I guess that’s what makes it a “Search” function instead of an automated movement feature.
What does this gem do?
Gems are used to upgrade each of your characters’ stats. You can choose from Attack, Defense and Move. The number of gems you have left within Blockman Go is displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
Where do I find these gems?
You can either find them at random when you kill an enemy or you can upgrade your character to get a certain amount of them (depending on which stat you choose to upgrade). Gems are also given as a bonus every time you gain a level.
