What is Epic FlexPay?
Epic FlexPay, powered by Uplift, gives you the freedom to purchase your pass now and pay over time in monthly installments. Lock in your pass for $0 down and no interest!
With flexible payment options, Epic FlexPay makes skiing and snowboarding more accessible and affordable. Simply select “Epic FlexPay” during checkout and complete a short application.
Is Epic FlexPay available to everyone?
Epic FlexPay is available only to US* and Canadian customers, pending approval through Uplift. Actual terms are based on your credit score and other factors and may vary. Not everyone is eligible, and some states are not served, including IA and WV. Loans made through Uplift are offered by these lending partners: uplift.com/lenders. Applicants must fulfill the criteria below based on country of residence.

What’s the difference between pay in full, Epic FlexPay, and $49 down?
- Pay in full – Your credit or debit card is charged the full amount of your order at the time of purchase.
- Epic FlexPay – Pending approval, lock in your pass for $0 down and no interest, with low monthly payments
- $49 down – Pay $49 at the time of purchase then the remainder of your purchase in mid September. This option is only available in the Spring.
What is the advantage of using Epic FlexPay vs. a credit card?
Credit cards charge interest whereas Epic FlexPay has no interest at all. Your total amount owed and monthly payments are clear at the time of the purchase with no hidden fees or late payment penalties. Epic FlexPay makes it easy to budget and pay for your purchase over time.
Is there a minimum or maximum spend level required to use Epic FlexPay?
Epic FlexPay is available for pass purchases with a minimum of $49USD/$CAD up to a maximum of $25,000USD/CAD
Are there any fees for using Epic FlexPay?
No, there are no fees or interest when you use Epic FlexPay. You pay exactly what you would have if you paid in full, just with low monthly payments!
Are all products eligible for Epic FlexPay?
Only 2023/24 Season Passes are available for Epic FlexPay. Ski and Ride School lessons, hospitality, rentals, retail, lift tickets, and other lines of business are not eligible at this time.
Your website indicates multiple loan term lengths available, but when I go to pay, I don't see every option. Why is that?
Uplift looks at a number of factors when determining loan term length, including credit information, purchase details, and more. If eligible, you will see a maximum of three term lengths to choose from, all with low monthly payments.
Can I use Epic FlexPay to purchase Epic Passes for others?
Yes, as long as your order includes only Epic Pass products that will be paid via Epic FlexPay, you may purchase as many Epic Passes as you wish, for whomever you wish as long as you meet Uplift's criteria:
- Minimum 18 years old in US, Minimum 19 years old in CA
- Resident of respective country (*Residents of Iowa & West Virginia are ineligible to use Uplift)
- Have a Debit Card Issued by Visa, Mastercard or by a Bank
- Have a mobile device
- Have a Social Security Number (US Applicants)
What can I use Epic FlexPay for?
As long as your cart total exceeds $49 USD/$49 CAD, you can use Epic FlexPay to pay for any Pass sold online at EpicPass.com or WhistlerBlackcomb.com. This includes, but is not limited to, the Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic Day Pass, Northeast Value Pass, Tahoe Local Pass, Tahoe Value Pass, Summit Value Pass, Whistler Blackcomb Unlimited Season Pass, Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass, Whistler Blackcomb EDGE Card, and more.
Why can’t I use Epic FlexPay on lift tickets, lodging, ski and ride school lessons, or rentals?
Currently, Epic FlexPay is only available for Epic and Whistler Blackcomb Pass products, including Epic Day Passes and EDGE Cards.
Why is my cart showing as ineligible?
Your cart may be ineligible for Epic FlexPay if you have ineligible products such as lift tickets, lodging, rentals, or ski and ride school lessons.
How do I apply for Epic FlexPay?
Shop for your Epic Pass on epicpass.com or whistlerblackcomb.com as you normally would, and then select “Epic FlexPay” as your payment method during checkout. You'll need to provide some basic information like your mobile number and if you are a US resident, your Social Security Number to apply. If you're approved, finish checking out and you're done.
Can I use Epic FlexPay if I call in or go to a resort to purchase my pass?
Epic FlexPay is only available online at epicpass.com and whistlerblackcomb.com. Please call our Guest Services representatives if you have questions about how Epic FlexPay works. You may reach Guest Services by dialing (970) 754-0005.
How do I make Epic FlexPay payments?
You can make payments by visiting pay.uplift.com and clicking the Loans tab. On the Loans page, click the "Make a Payment" button.
If I'm using Epic FlexPay, can I pay early or switch to paying in full?
Yes, you can make additional payments to pay down your balance or pay off your purchase in full. You can pay off your loan at any time without paying a penalty or fee on pay.uplift.com.
When do my payments start?
Your first Epic FlexPay loan payment will begin the month after purchase, on the same day of the month you purchased your pass. For example, if you purchase on June 25, your first Epic FlexPay payment would be on July 25.
If you purchase your pass in the Spring while the relevant offer is available, payments will start in September on the same day of the month you made the purchase.

Can I change my payment due date?
We are not able to modify the terms of your loan. However, we can delay a payment within 15 days of your original payment date as long as you contact Uplift 3 business days before the payment is scheduled to occur.

What if I miss an Epic FlexPay payment?
We understand that unexpected life events happen. If you can’t make a payment, we encourage you to call Uplift’s customer service team at (844) 257-5400 to discuss your situation. They will do everything they can to help you, and are available 24/7/365.
If your payment becomes more than 30 days past due, you may be subject to the following:
- Your delinquent payments will be reported as late to the credit bureau.
- No further financing through Uplift will be available to you.
What happens if I qualify for a full or partial refund under Epic Coverage and I purchased my Pass with Epic FlexPay?
If you qualify for a full or partial refund under Epic Coverage and purchased your Season Pass using Epic FlexPay, Vail Resorts will process your refund in accordance with the Epic Coverage Terms & Conditions and issue any refund directly to the purchaser of the eligible Season Pass.
Epic FlexPay is a buy now, pay later payment option offered through Uplift, Inc. (“Uplift”), a third-party who provides access to loans.
Vail Resorts is not a party to your financing arrangement with Uplift and expressly disclaims all responsibility and liability relating to or arising in any way from your relationship with Uplift.
Who do I call if I have a question regarding my pass purchase or Epic FlexPay payment plan?

What should I do if I am not presented with an offer for Epic FlexPay?
If based on the information we have, we can't present you with an offer, you are still able to order your Epic Pass using the pay-in-full option. With pay-in-full, your credit or debit card is charged the full amount of your order at the time of purchase. Just select pay-in-full and continue checking out.
Can I use my pass before I’ve paid the full balance with Epic FlexPay?
Yes, you are able to use your pass before the full balance has been paid off.
Can I cancel my Epic FlexPay loan if I am not using my Pass?
Passes are non-refundable except as set forth in the EPIC Coverage Refund Policy. Therefore, payments must continue to be made until paid in full. If you have questions about your financing terms, payments, or balance, please contact Uplift directly at (844) 257-5400.
Will Epic FlexPay affect my credit?
- For U.S. residents: When you apply for Epic FlexPay at checkout, a “soft” credit inquiry occurs to verify your identity and determine your eligibility for financing. A soft credit inquiry doesn’t affect your credit score. Uplift does not perform a hard credit inquiry.
- For Canada residents: When you apply for Epic FlexPay at checkout, a “soft” credit inquiry occurs to verify your identity and determine your eligibility. A soft credit inquiry doesn’t affect your credit score. When you accept and confirm your loan, a “hard” credit inquiry occurs, which may impact your credit score.
- Additionally, if you miss payments, Uplift reserves the right to report payment delinquencies of 30 days or longer to one or more consumer reporting agencies in accordance with applicable law. I am enrolled in Auto Renew and would like to use Epic FlexPay. How do I set this up?
Simply purchase your pass at epicpass.com and select Epic FlexPay as your new payment method. To remain in the Auto Renew, please select the Auto Renew box when prompted during checkout.
Passes financed through Epic FlexPay and enrolled in Auto Renew will have loans automatically renewed the following season. Uplift will contact you before next year's passes go on sale to confirm your payment plan selection.
